I repeated the four steps of the experiment and verified that the first step (`docker-compose down --volumes ; rm -Rf /etc/netclient/config/ ; reboot`) leaves `/etc/netclient/config/` empty and no netclient WireGuard interfaces active. The `netclient join` on the same node as the Netmaker server still fails to configure the comms network correctly.
