Hi! I would like to know if our laptops are in the office and no vpn needed, is netclient aware of this case or do i need something like on-demand as it is in wireguard app on macos?

if two nodes have the same public ip, the wireguard endpoint will be set to the local address rather than the public address and thus the wireguard traffic between those nodes will go over the LAN and not the WAN.
