Hi there. I have a VPS on which I run the netmaker server and dashboard etc. On this server I want to reverse proxy through a created network to another node. I think I read somewhere in order to achieve that you would deploy a client on the same VPS which joins the network and then point your reverse proxy to the IP of that client. I did that and in general it works great. Is that the proper way to achieve that though?

yeah that should be enough to get the job done

Thanks! I mean for sure it works. It just feels weird? Doesn't/can't the netmaker server also expose an interface? As it already joins every network (I guess?). In any case, just wanted to clarify if I'm sticking to the best practice.

for a while we allowed setups with "host networking" enabled, but it ended up being overly complicated. You could attempt a host networking setup but can't guarantee it will work

ok no worries, thanks a lot! I will stick to deploy another client then.
