Typical Safe Upgrade Path:
1. Download new netclient
2. Stop netclient daemon i.e. sudo systemctl stop netclient, or whatever daemon yours currently uses
3. copy netclient to /sbin/netclient or c:\ProgramData\Netclient (windows) 
4. Restart daemon - sudo systemctl start netclient
