Worth noting for folks who ran into problems during upgrades: several people faced issues because the nodes were missing variables that were added to the object model in 0.8. @User has coded up a fix to this for the next patch (0.8.x), and once that is out, if you upgrade to that version from 0.7 you should be fine. It will just set defaults for any unset variables, which should solve the problem.
