@everyone I've found a solution to the DNS issues, one that should work much better / consistently. Will update install docs in next release with this method. @User if you want to test, I think this is the one. It's pretty simple. If you're starting from scratch with a new install, don't do anything to the machine to prepare for DNS. Instead, simply bind the coredns docker container to the public IP of the machine. For instance, in docker-compose.yaml, here is an example coredns section:
