Correct, you could make 2 configs connect to one on the LAN and one on your cellular network and just activate the one you're using from the WG app. But Netclient may have an app in the far future, but currently it's not very simple for roaming phones. You can do outbound if you make an egress gateway to the internet or wherever you'd like. and set your default ext client DNS on the network level. The laptops do support roaming so long as you're using the netclient binary and not connecting through an ext client config.
