I've been screwing around with this exact setup with rke2, but haven't gotten it working either. It's partially because I still don't understand the limitations of kubernetes ingress controllers. Like... technically I can load balance a floating IP from my firewall because I randomly have a commercial firewall +2 static IPs at my house. So do I even need KVIP in that scenario, or does it and/or metal LB serve another purpose I'm not giving it credit for.
