we were moving the ext client dns to ingress gateways, thus the only thing left to edit were the network cidrs and editing network cidrs can result in a bunch of edge cases that are quite complicated. Given how easy it is to add hosts to a network through the UI, it was decided to deprecate network editing... instead create a new network and assign the hosts from the old network to the new network.
